PRESS RELEASE
Dean Borghi Fine Art is delighted to announce “Dashing Into Summer,” a solo exhibition showcasing the dynamic works of contemporary artist Tom Dash. This vibrant collection will be on view starting June 11, 2019, at our gallery located at 529 West 20th Street, 6th Floor, New York City.
“Dashing Into Summer” features a curated selection of Dash’s innovative works, which draw inspiration from pressing societal issues, music, and themes from popular culture. Through his art, Dash offers insightful commentary on the intricate threads that weave together the fabric of contemporary society.
Having previously served as the lead fabricator for renowned artist Richard Prince, Dash has honed his craft and developed a distinctive voice that reflects both his formal training and personal experiences. His time in Prince’s studio has profoundly influenced his artistic journey, empowering him to establish his own studio and support other artists.
Dash’s work spans various mediums, including painting, photography, and sculpture, each piece serving as a reflection of the world we inhabit. After many years in Portland, Oregon, he has returned to the east end of Long Island, where he has established a permanent studio, continuing to create and innovate.
Join us for the opening of “Dashing Into Summer” on June 11, 2019, and immerse yourself in Tom Dash’s exploration of contemporary themes that resonate deeply within our collective consciousness. This exhibition promises to be a thought-provoking experience that challenges and inspires.
