Rack Sale
29 Jun - 1 Sep 2026 Dean Borghi Fine Art is pleased to present "Rack Sale", a summer group exhibition bringing together an exceptional selection of works on paper, studies, photographs, and intimate compositions by some of the most influential artists of the twentieth century and beyond.
Rather than focusing on monumental statements, the exhibition explores the immediacy of artistic thought through sketches, experiments, personal works, and smaller-scale compositions that offer rare insight into the creative processes of major artists across generations.
Highlights include an intimate graphite work by Pablo Picasso from 1950, a late charcoal drawing by Joan Mitchell, an original Andy Warhol Silver Pillow from 1966, a mixed-media study by Tom Wesselmann, and works by important members of the New York School including Mary Abbott, Michael Goldberg, Mercedes Matter, and Jimmy Ernst.
By assembling these diverse voices in a single exhibition, "Summer Signals" emphasizes the continuity of artistic experimentation across decades and movements. The exhibition invites viewers to encounter artists not only through their most familiar public works, but through the studies and moments of invention that often reveal the deepest aspects of artistic practice.
"Rack Sale" will be on view in person from June 29th through September 1st 2026 at Dean Borghi Fine Art, 529 West 20th Street, 6th Floor, New York. Read more -
